Pink Stumps Day

Six Darwin Cricket Clubs are participating in Pink Stumps Day, to be held at various Darwin cricket grounds on Saturday 7th July. Pink Stumps Day is an initiative of the McGrath Foundation and Cricket Cares, Cricket Australia’s community action program. Darwin clubs are inviting friends and family to wear pink on the day, and have arranged a number of fundraising activities including a Ladies Day, as well as having volunteers roam the field with a collection tin for donations and temporary tattoos in exchange for a gold coin donation to help pink up the club! Teams and locations: Waratah v PINT at Gardens Oval Nightcliff v Palmerston at Nightcliff Oval Tracy Village v Southern Districts at Tracy Village Oval All proceeds from the day will be donated to the McGrath Foundation to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia and to increase breast awareness in young women.
