TEDDY TIME!

Darwin’s favourite fun day for the whole family is here again on the Esplanade on Sunday the 11th of August from 9am as part of the Darwin Festival

Of course we’re talking about the Teddy Bears Picnic!!

Bring a sense of adventure, your favourite teddy bear and the whole family to The Esplanade for a free fun day like no other. City of Darwin Teddy Bears’ Picnic is an annual institution and this year we’ve planned a morning with the lot!

Parents, you’re used to taking pics of the kids. Well acclaimed interactive art experience I See You Like This turns the camera around and invites children to art direct a creative portrait directly on your face!

Play your favourite party games in a bubble-filled children’s disco to the backing of a blend of kid-friendly tunes. And help artist Peta Goodrem decorate a hungry papier maché frog and its dragonfly snacks.

That’s as well as the stalls you know and love, a huge cast of roving performers and all your favourite artistic activities.

Of course – 104One will be there hanging out with all the Big and Little Ted’s so make sure you come and say Hi to us and grab some free merch while you’re at it!!!
