NT Human Rights Awards Nominations Deadline Extended!
Nominations for the 2025 NT Human Rights Awards “The Fitzgeralds” have been extended
and will now close at midnight on Monday 13 October 2025.
These Awards celebrate individuals and organisations who champion human rights through
action, advocacy, service and leadership — in all sectors and communities, across the NT.
Award Categories
There are four award categories, each recognising both an individual and an organisation:
1. Diversity Award – for those who help everyone feel safe, welcome and included—just as
they are.
2. Justice Award – for those who stand up for fairness and help people understand and use
their rights.
3. Social Change Award – for those who speak out and take action to make life better and
fairer for others.
4. Youth Award – for those who protect and support the voices, rights, and futures of young
people.
Nominations are open to the public — anyone can nominate an individual or organisation
making a difference through human rights work. Whether it’s a grassroots volunteer, a local
community group, or a leader creating change behind the scenes, extraordinary efforts
deserve recognition.
Nominations close midnight Monday 13 October 2025.
