Celebrate 75 Years of Show Magic at the 2026 Royal Darwin Show!

The Territory’s biggest and most-loved family event is back, and this year it’s bigger than ever as the Royal Darwin Show celebrates its 75th Pearl Anniversary!

From Thursday 23 to Saturday 25 July 2026, the Darwin Showgrounds will come alive with three action-packed days celebrating everything that makes the Northern Territory unique. Whether you’re chasing adrenaline on the rides, cuddling baby animals, discovering local produce, enjoying live entertainment or simply indulging in your favourite show food, there’s something for every age.

As the Northern Territory’s largest annual community event, the Royal Darwin Show attracts around 50,000 visitors each year, bringing together the very best of our community. Wander through the vibrant pavilions showcasing arts, crafts, horticulture, agriculture and local businesses, watch some of the Territory’s finest competitors battle it out for the coveted blue ribbons, and experience hands-on displays that educate and inspire.

Of course, no trip to the Show would be complete without the excitement of Sideshow Alley, the latest showbags, thrilling rides, live music, spectacular arena entertainment and the nightly fireworks lighting up the Darwin sky.

We’ll be chatting with exhibitors, organisers and special guests throughout the day, bringing you all the colour, excitement and atmosphere from the heart of the Show. Whether you’re stopping by to say hello, share your favourite Show memories or simply soak up the atmosphere, we’d love to see you!

One of the highlights of the weekend is the Official Opening Ceremony and Grand Parade, taking place on Friday 24 July at 2:00pm, celebrating the people, industries and organisations that make the Territory so special.

The Royal Darwin Show runs Thursday 23 – Saturday 25 July, with gates open daily from 9:00am until 10:00pm.

Ticket prices are:

• Adults – $30
• Children (5–16 years) – $15
• Children under 5 – Free
• Family (2 adults & 3 children under 14) – $60
• Aged Pensioners – $20 (with concession card)

To help everyone enjoy a safe day out, please remember that alcohol, glass and weapons are not permitted on site.
