DARWIN CHRISTMAS PAGEANT

Bigger Better and Merrier than ever!

This years Christmas Peageant will mark the beginning of the Festive Season and will be followed by a fun-filled schedule of Christmas activities such as the Christmas tree lighting, a city-wide light trail and performances across the town.

So make sure you mark the 18th of November in your Calendar!

If you’re a community group, school, business or not-for-profit why not get into the Christmas spirit by registering a float?

Limited Grants of up to $500 are available for community groups to create walking or vehicle floats to take part.

Last years inaugural event saw close to 50 floats and more than 900 Territorians parade down The Esplanade and Knuckey Street and finish at Raintree Park where participants and more than 7000 spectators enjoyed live-music and performances.

This event is thanks to a partnership between the Northern Territory Government and the City of Darwin.
