MUSICAL INSTRUMENT DONATION DRIVE

MIFANT (Mental Illness Fellowship Australia NT) is seeking in-kind donations to promote the Gift of Music to people in the community. Is your musical instrument lying around without being used? Would you like to donate it to participants at Mi Place, who are interested in playing it forward? Music is for everyone and can positively affect people’s mental health and reduce their stress. This donation drive aims to give people an opportunity to engage in music that helps them relieve their stress and enjoy.

Please note that you can drop off the items between 9 – 4 PM, Monday – Friday.

MIFANT is a non-for-profit charitable organisation that has been operating in the NT for over 30 years. With services in Darwin, Tennant Creek and Alice Springs, MIFANT provides recovery-based support to people with a mental condition. Mi Place Hub offers a safe place for people to visit for a cuppa or chat and provides a wide range of programs to socialise and engage that would help them to develop their skills. The space allows people to relax and encourage them to be active. Mi Place is committed to assist participants through their recovery journey and motivate them to identify and achieve their goals.
