Join the City of Darwin’s free community dog walk , “Walk ‘n Wag”, aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle and helping dog owners socialise their animals in a supportive environment.
City of Darwin animal education officers will be on hand to provide dog owners with advice and support on a range of pet management issues.
Dog owners participating in the walks are asked to ensure their dogs are kept on a lead and to bring “poop” bags.
Walk ‘n Wag” events are held every second Tuesday afternoon for approximately 30-45 minutes. To check walk locations and to book go to the Darwin City Council Facebook Page and check under events:

The December 5th Walk is Gurambai Walk Trail (Rapid Creek). Meet at the car park at the corner of Sir Norman Brearley Drive & Larkin Avenue (off leash swimming opportunities for obedient social dogs. The path has gravel surface.
Fitness Level – Medium. Distance 2.5-3km. Timeframe 45 mins.
If the weather is unfavourable, the decision to cancel will be made at 4pm and an email will be sent to all walkers on the Walk N Wag mailing list, a notice will also be issued on the City of Darwin Facebook page.
