Are we finally realising what gratitude is all about?
In the best of times, the majority of people want to get healthier, richer, and travel more. Others want love or to be more successful. But this never-ending pursuit of happiness sounds very future-based and a little out of reach. Now, given the corona panic – where we can’t go out and get what we want – we’re forced to live in the moment, and it’s making many realise how grateful they are for what they have NOW. Gratitude is an emotion that involves expressing appreciation for what we have, as opposed to what we want. So, why is expressing gratitude so important during corona-crisis? How can gratitude make us healthier and happier? And how can we incorporate more gratitude in our lives?
