Even for employers already offering flexible arrangements, hot desking or remote working, we’re on the brink of our largest ‘workplace experiment’. How can employers ensure their teams are working effectively and ultimately, with purpose from home? Here’s some tips to remote working with purpose using the 3E model: 1. Experience – this new way of working should be framed as a positive and progressive pursuit, rather than a reactionary measure. 2. Engagement – whether employees are working remotely or in an office, engagement is the most common challenge. When employees are connected to their own purpose through the work they’re doing and feel aligned to the broader vision and purpose, engagement happens naturally. 3. Ergonomics – if your employees aren’t physically comfortable in their space and able to sit for the periods of time required to perform their role, it won’t happen.
