SMWYG – NARELLE GOSSTRAY
Family violence campaign advocate and Violence prevention manager with the NO MORE Australia Campaign, Narelle Gosstray talks about her incredibly successful Baseball career, all around the world. A journey that started with her playing second base for the inaugural bronze medal winning Australian Women’s Baseball team, has helped women and girls around the world achieve their dream of playing baseball. Narelle, Co-founded the Aussie Hearts Women’s Baseball team, that went on to be the first ever women’s baseball team, to be honoured at the 40,000 capacity, New York Yankees stadium right before an Major League Baseball (MLB) game. She talks about her passionate drive for women in sport and founding the Diamonds in the rough program, to empower Indonesian girls that were previously discouraged to play.
